to preach the gospel,

not to be lukewarm! 

Who do I offend?

I pledge allegiance to call down fresh fire from heaven for Amarillo and for the United States of America .  I pledge not to be lukewarm.  May God arise and His enemies be scattered.  Lord, help your Church to do it now!

While I know Proverbs 19-2 says:  It is not good to have zeal without knowledge, not to be hasty and miss the way.  I also know that Jesus said in Revelation 3:15, “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot.  I wish you were either one or the other!” 

Therefore, while this article may be done with too much zeal and not enough knowledge of the facts about Amarillo or of the Word of God, here I go out on a limb.  Lord, I thank you in advance, that if this message is from me, you will catch me if I saw the limb off. 

O Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of this your servant and the prayer of your servants who delight in revering your name.  Give your servant success today by granting him favor in the presence of this reader. 

Lord, I know Your Word says in Acts 5; 38-39, “For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail, but if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men;  you will only find yourselves fighting against God.”  So, fear not, either way I am in good hands!

Lord, let this country, this nation, Your people pledge we are one nation under God!  Lord, what does our heart say?  You alone really know, but Your Word says faith without works is dead.

While Amarillo and America is grasping for its last breath of life as we have known her, we are lukewarm!   Although Your Word is pure, holy and forever settled in heaven, we have not acted upon what You tell us. 

Do we doubt Your Word?  God forbid!  “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”  God said it, spoke it into being and it was so, is so, and forever will be so!   True, no matter whom that offends!  Lord, our country became the greatest country ever, because of what God said to do to be blessed.

However, God also says what will curse a nation.   Just take a look at His Word about curses and you shall see the America of today.    See Deuteronomy 28!

America is in bondage.  We are slaves and some of us don’t even know it.  What do we submit to?  Political correctness?  What we submit to is what we are controlled by or a slave to!

God’s first commandment is “You shall have no other gods before me.”  Please check out the other nine in Exodus 20.  When it becomes politically incorrect to read, teach, preach, talk about or promote what God says and who He is, then that nation is breathing its last breath.  Look at history!  God’s Word is true to it!  It cannot fail!  It is impossible for God to lie.

I, with my zeal, could go on for pages about what is wrong, but I know the True Church of Jesus Christ already knows more about it than I know or will be able to explain.   The lost, on the other hand, don’t have a clue about what I am trying to say. 

However, I do know the answer for the Church of Jesus Christ.  It is what “Love America Back” is trying to do.  It is to call those called by His Name, His body to prayer in the manner He prescribes in II Chronicles 7:14.  That is where the power is to overcome and to win.

However, each condition of the text must be followed before the power will come.

We have been blessed in America , but have gotten to see firsthand what the Lord meant about being lukewarm.  We have been told by many that if our effort was only put out in the Religious section or given to the churches, they might support our efforts, but if it is going to be delivered to every person, then forget it- they don’t want to offend their secular friends or their business or risk that they will lose some business from a lost person.

Who is their God?  I know many who have said it is just not in the right place.  Then others testify that the Word is for the churches and Sunday, but never will they include their business as a testimony of their belief- like their business or country does not already belong to the Lord. 

“Father, forgive us, for we know not what we do!  Father, You said call upon You and that You would show us great and mighty things that we do not know.  You said, “The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid, what can man do to me?”  You said, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.”    The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken- that is created things- so that what cannot be shaken may remain.

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God (wherever) acceptably with reverence and awe, for “our God is a consuming fire.” 

Lord You said “If you love me, feed my sheep.”  O Father, I’m calling down fire!  I’m calling for You to consume Your bride with the passion for her groom.  I am calling for Your Holy Spirit to consume Your entire body with the desire to please You.  I know that is to lift You up!

I know that You are mighty God and will soon judge our nation!

I am calling down Your fire to destroy anything that is in our minds that would exalt itself against Your Word and will for our lives.  I am calling for Your mighty presence in all that we set our hand unto for your glory. 

Lord, let it happen today!
